Dee's angelic hierarchies became Bacon's scientific specialists, became Newton's Royal Society Fellows, became Grand Lodge 33rd Degree initiates, became classified clearance levels of the modern technocratic state. The content changed (angels → natural philosophy → financial mechanics → algorithmic governance) but the container — graded access to restricted knowledge controlled by an initiated elite — remained identical across 468 years.
