Old Kingdom royal decrees: the Coptos Decrees (Pepi I & Pepi II, 6th-8th Dyn., c.2300-2170 BCE) grant the temple of Min at Coptos immunity from taxes and corvee; the Nauri Decree (Sety I, New Kingdom) charters immunity for the Osiris temple at Abydos.
