Gabriele Amorth (Vatican Exorcist Office)

Public-facing operator of the Catholic Church's substrate-defense network

Chief Exorcist of the Diocese of Rome (1986–2016), founder of the International Association of Exorcists (1990). Amorth represented the public face of the Vatican's operative-magick monopoly — rigorous protocol-driven interaction with what the Church officially classifies as hostile non-human intelligences. His work operated under the 1614 Roman Ritual (until 1999) and the revised *De Exorcismis et Supplicationibus Quibusdam* (1999, Cardinal Medina Estevez).

The 1999 revision as operative manual. Mandates psychometric pre-screening to distinguish natural mental illness from possession, command-of-name procedures, sealed-house anchoring protocols.

Engine framework projected: Occult Substrate / Vatican (substrate-defense tier). Cross-references: Secretum Pontificium, the 1923 Pact of the Forbidden Books, the broader PGM / Lemegeton operative tradition.
